I am assuming this has come about from collectors complaining that all of their payments come at once or even when things are delayed and that last payment keeps getting pushed back.

This

is only appears on Flex plan items at the moment and is currently visible, but not active.

I think this is a great idea as last month I sold a few items on ebay, so I would happily have paid off a few items from my pre order list. Well instead of doing what I did which was buying friends drinks at the bar…

So Leaked photos show that a project to recast Doom is under way and from the image seen it looks like over 50 have been made so far.

This is just one of a long line of statues that have been recast. Recently we saw the XM Magneto on throne and the Venom comiquette, while in the past we saw Iron man, Spider-man Comiquette, Hulk Maquette, Kratos Comiquette and many many more.

I will not preach about if it is right of wrong to buy recasts (that is for another post), but personally I would never buy them or knowingly display them in my collection.

Sideshow is proud to introduce Shard: Mortal Trespasser, based on an original character design from our Court of the Dead Premium Format Figure collection.

“Living or dead, it makes no difference to my blades.”

Shard is the first living, breathing mortal to ever set foot in the Underworld. To better prepare her for the harsh environment of the realm of the dead, the former Templar knight is adorned with armor forged within the capital city of Illverness. The fine bone filaments of this protective encasement were woven around her form by the osteomancers and artisans of the dead. Though most trappings of humanity are now beyond her reach, Shard still carries the weapon that served her for so long in the mortal realm – a blade called “Faith Bearer,” which is infused with the essence of one of the heavenly host. It is a deadly weapon, only rivaled by its newly forged twin – the sword known as “Seraph’s Woe,” which contains the spirit of one of hell’s greater demons. It is no surprise that even in the Underworld, most beings give this defiant trespasser a wide berth. Though she may be the only living being in Death’s realm, there is no fear in Shard’s eyes.

It is no surprise with how popular the 1987 Predator creature design is so popular. Personally it is on of my favorite designs of all time. So it breaks my heart that I missed out on the Sideshow Collectibles Maquette and the Cinemaquette 1/3 original Predator statues. Now the prices of these pieces are too high for me to be able to convince my girlfriend that it is an investment (especially when I never seem to sell anyway).

There is always the Sideshow 1/5, but after owning their Scar Predator I felt there was no enough presence for the character.

So while on a normal day for me looking through the hundreds of videos that pop up on my daily subscribed channels I started to watch the latest video from Sideshow Collectibles. This was the Artist profile of Alfred Paredes (Video is at bottom of the page) and what I saw got me really excited.

At 4 minutes and 30 seconds the video reveals him sculpting a Predator which is undoubtedly the 1987 version and appears to be a Legendary Scale piece.

Even though this piece is likely to command between $1500-2000 from Sideshow collectibles + shipping and the 20% tax we get stung for in the UK. I would still find it extremely difficult not to add this to my collection as I am a huge fan of the movie. Watch this space!!
